We’re Oliver and Laurine – the proud founders of Pirates and Pineapples – and along with our two young adventurers, Luca (5) and Ben Lee (4), we’ve dropped anchor here in beautiful Florida to turn our passions into a way of life. 

Oliver (42) is the hands-on captain of this ship. With a lifelong love for all things mechanical, he’s happiest with tools in hand and a project to tackle. From fixing what’s broken to perfecting what already works, craftsmanship runs through his veins like rum through a true pirate’s mug. But his biggest soft spot? Pristine pools. For years, Oliver has had a keen eye for clean, sparkling water – and as a Certified Pool & Spa Technician, he brings both skill and precision to every job. When he’s not working or fine-tuning your pool system, you might catch him polishing up one of his beloved oldtimers or taking a ride on his Harley – wind in his beard, freedom on the horizon. 

Laurine (36) is the soul of our operation – a free spirit with a deep love for the ocean, horseback riding, and faraway places. Her heart belongs to the sea, and her mind is always dreaming of the next great journey. With an eye for beauty and a knack for creating order amidst the waves, she keeps our business steady and our clients smiling. She’s the one who turns customers into friends and jobs into joyful experiences. 

Together, we’ve built Pirates and Pineapples not just as a service – but as a lifestyle. What better place than Florida, with its endless sunshine, turquoise waters, and lush tropical backyards, to bring our dream to life? For us, this isn’t just work – it’s a way to share our passions and values with every home we visit. 

And of course, our two sons – Luca and Ben Lee – are the young buccaneers who inspire us daily. With their curiosity and boundless energy, they remind us to enjoy the little things, chase the big dreams, and never stop exploring.
